Yesterday we looked at the secrets men keep from women when they first start dating. But we all know that women are duplicitous creatures - they've had to be, they've been dealing with men all their lives. So what about the secrets that women keep from men?

1.      Women enjoy playing games, and there's nothing they like better than being a little bit unattainable. When you first start casual dating, women know that there's nothing more likely to drive a man crazy than playing hard to get. Sure, they'll sign up to all sorts of dating services and online dating sites to bag a man, but once they've got one, they'll keep him at arm's length for a while. It's all about power, don't you know...

2.      Even beautiful girls have insecurities about their looks. So if she asks her man over and over again if her bum looks big in this, she genuinely wants to be told that no, she looks fabulous. Even when the first flush of dating is over, women spend hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds looking good - they need to know it was worth the bother!

3.      You've long dreaded it, but I'm afraid it's true When it comes to men's misdemeanours and slip-ups, women have memories like elephants. Sure, she'll tell you that all is forgiven - but don't think for a minute the fact that she caught you eyeing up the hot waitress, or, god forbid, realises you haven't signed off from your internet dating account after a few months of seeing her, will ever be forgotten. And I mean EVER.

4.      Women may come over all Bambi-eyed, soft and dewy. But women are angry. If you rile a woman, she can stretch that fury over several weeks. If you treat her badly, don't think you'll get away with it. Ever heard what a 'woman scorned' is like? Hell, that's what. She'll look like butter wouldn't melt on her online dating profile - but trust me, butter not only melts, it positively boils.

If you get a woman going, she can give you mind-blowing, life-altering sex - but one wrong move, and she's immediately turned-off. Take it or leave it.
